Allama Dr.Muhammad Iqbal was a poet, philosopher and politician in British-ruled sub-continent. He is well-known for his scholarly works on politics, economics, history, philosophy and religion. But he is best known for his poetic works in Urdu and Persian languages. He was a strong advocate of political and spiritual revival of Islamic civilisation across the world, specifically in South Asia. Zarb-e-Kaleem is Iqbals third collection of Urdu poems. It has been described as his political manifesto.
